ELM AND VINE ORIGIN

A lot of people believe Elm and Vine is a reference to Cross Streets, which was a little by design as a private individual.
The Rennaisance era fable of the Elm and the Vine is a metaphor reserved typically for a semi-heterotypical marriage.

The strong but inornate Elm stands and acts as a trellis for a 'weaker' vine to grow up it, blooming and adding beauty.
I decided to reclaim the title as someone who has had to act as my own elm a lot in life.
My work in college, in my job as an engineer, the 10 years of school I went through to secure my
job as an researcher in Acoustics is the Elm which allows my art, my music, my creativity to have a structure to
grow and bloom.
I'm very proud of the title, I love literature and fables, but I am competing with a lot of wedding business for the title haha.
I wanted also for it to be conceivably multiple people behind the band, in case it grew later in life but for now it is still just a solo artist title.
